If all countries reduce 1% of global pollution, it would have a significant impact on the environment and public health. It is important to recognize that this small reduction can lead to a significant difference in the fight against climate change.

According to data from the World Bank, in 2022 the world emitted approximately 43.1 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). If all countries and each country reduce 1% of global pollution, it would result in a reduction of approximately 431 million metric tons of CO2e, which is equivalent to the annual emissions of a country like Spain.

To achieve this reduction, countries must implement policies and practices that promote cleaner energy sources, improve energy efficiency, and reduce emissions from transportation and industry. This could include investing in renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, promoting the use of public transportation, and implementing regulations to limit emissions from power plants and factories.

Reducing global pollution is important because it can cause a variety of health problems, including respiratory illnesses and cardiovascular disease. Pollution can also harm ecosystems, wildlife, and natural resources. By reducing pollution, we can improve public health and protect the environment for future generations.

Borderless Consulting with its initiative has objective to reduce 4.2 billion tonnes of CO2 until end 2024 from 43.1 billion tonnes would result in an 9.76% reduction in global CO2 emissions. This is a significant reduction that will have a positive impact on the environment and public health. If all countries cooperate, we all be a part of the solution, it’s a responsibility of us all,

It is a shared responsibility of all countries to work together and take action to reduce global pollution. The Paris Agreement recognizes the need for countries to reduce their emissions and work together to achieve the goal of limiting global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius.

Ultimately, reducing global pollution is not just a moral obligation, but a practical necessity to ensure a sustainable future for our planet. By working together, we can make a difference and create a better world for ourselves and future generations.

“Reducing global pollution is not just a moral obligation, it’s a practical necessity to ensure a sustainable future for our planet. If all countries and each country reduce 1% of global pollution, it would have a substantial positive impact on the environment and public health. The data from the World Bank clearly indicates that this small reduction can lead to a significant difference. Our initiative at Borderless Consulting aims to reduce 4.2 billion tonnes of CO2 by the end of 2024, which is a step towards achieving this goal. It’s important to recognize that reducing global pollution requires collective efforts to promote cleaner energy sources, improve energy efficiency, and reduce emissions from transportation and industry. We believe that if all countries cooperate and take action, we can create a sustainable future for generations to come. It’s a shared responsibility of us all, and we urge everyone to be a part of the solution. Thank you.”
